A Brief History

Fairview Mennonite Church was initially organized with 35 members on February 2, 1904. Eli A. Bontrager was the first pastor.

The first church building was located on the corner of Miller Rd and Abbe Rd where the hardware store now stands. After a fire in 1918 it was rebuilt very close to the original site. The current building was erected in 1960.

Initially part of the Michigan-Indiana Conference, as of 2014 Fairview Mennonite Church is part of the Rosedale Network of Churches.
